Transformative Initiatives - The Ana Grace Project

Vision
To create a transformative initiative from the tragedy of the Sandy Hook Shootings.  The Ana Grace Project was founded in honor of Ana Grace, who was killed at Sandy Hook, CT.  Her Parents, Jimmy and Nelba Greene turned their loss into an opportunity to create love, connection and caring for every child and family.

Action
The Love Wins Symposium brought together 500 thought leaders from mental health, education, community, parents and politicians to launch the Center for Community and Connection with Klingberg Family Centers.  We designed the activities for the day, developed the program, workshops, secured the speakers, and coordinated the logistics for registration, production, visual, interactive and experiential touch points, hospitality, printed material and volunteers.

Impact
Call to Action: Attendees were asked to write their commitment to action and place it on a growing installation of love, connection and community for every family and child.  These 500 commitments became the starting point of on-going programs, initiatives, conversations and personal commitments to help us develop and sustain compassionate, healing communities.

"With Maureen's help, we we were able to turn our tragedy into a moment of triumph.  Her vision, passion and professional expertise allowed us to host an event beyond our expectations.  Her commitment to excellence and attention to both process and product are second to none.  She doesn't just execute events.  She produces magic."
