One Earth Future Foundation was looking to develop a global events department to deliver high-impact programs and forums, which would inform initiatives to improve systems that prevent armed conflict.  Responsibilities included: recruitment and briefing of high-level global leaders as forum participants and development of program content to align with long-term outcomes.  Forums included:  Path to Peace, Somalia Sustainable Energy Forum, and Innovations in Partnerships, a series focused on the intersection of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and One Earth Future programs.  Each forum convenes working groups and speakers leading to on-going initiatives, policy, collaboration, and capacity building.

Newman’s Own Foundation has asked us to leverage an exhibit at the Library of Congress into a series of events and programs to empower change through the portal of the Civil Rights Act on college campuses and universities.  We turn vision into reality through in-depth program development with stakeholders and concept to completion event planning and implementation.

The urban design plan “IQuilt” in Hartford, CT, had us create a festival to celebrate cultural transformation through urban design. Envisionfest Hartford presented the potential and promise of the design plans underway to develop enthusiasm and a collaborative spirit around changes.  Each festival component programmed the connections in the city for walking, culture and innovation.

At United Technologies Corporation we developed a corporate responsibility plan that wove the individual strands of leadership, business, and community into an integrated vision, blending the goals and outcomes with extended impact for multiple stakeholders.   In-depth interviews and understanding the economic and political landscape of UTC in various countries helped us develop a comprehensive plan and programs for the  sustainable cities initiative.

Our development of the Love Wins Symposium for the Ana Grace Project honored the life of Ana Grace Marquez Greene and other victims of the Sandy Hook tragedy, while beginning an initiative to build compassionate communities.  From this initial event we are  now developing  a strategic plan and organization for on-going social change programs reaching multiple levels of community.

The Empowering Change initiative, honoring The Civil Rights Act 50th Anniversary, at the University of Hartford will serve as a launch for understanding a university’s capacity to instigate change in ways that can improve our society.  The week-long event is designed to initiate on-going academic and legacy programs and relationships to broaden the impact of the university.
